The future perfect tense is used to describe an action that will be completed between some events in the future.
The future perfect tense is used to talk about an event that will be completed at a certain time in the future. Suppose your brother Afrah says, “I want to travel towards Kenya, so come to me tonight in my house at 9 o’clock,” and you say to him, “I shall not be able to come to you at 9 o’clock because I will stay with my grandmother, so I will come to you at 10 o’clock.”
So what is the future perfect tense showing us here? It is showing that Afrah is going to go to Kenya for some event after this time but before a certain time in the future at 10 o’clock tonight.
Future perfect tense formula
To understand well everything about this tense, use the following formula, which consists of two parts: the verb of simple future combined with “have” and then the past participle of the main verb.
Subject + will/have + past participle of the main verb

How to form future perfect tense?

In regular verbs the past participle formed by “ed” or “d” to the base form of the verb.
a) If the verb doesn’t end in “e” add “ed” for example:-

b) If the regular verb ends in “e” add only “d” for example:-
Behave————-> behaved

c) If the regular verb ends in “y” and a consonant comes before the “y” change the “y” into “i” and then add “ed” for example:-

d) if a vowel comes before the “y” add only “ed” without changing the the “y” example:-
